River City Saloon's 3rd Annual TOYS FOR TOTS benefit was a GREAT success indeed. As always, the people and bands at RCS really outdid themselves and, despite the economic climate, found a way to donate nearly $3000 in brand new toys for the program.
As the photos below will show, and there are alot of them, everyone had a great time (some, maybe a little too much) and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Besides an appearance by Santa himself (and I know it was him because I got his business card), some pretty sexy helpers and dancers, some proud members of our military (whom I had the pleasure of talking with) and the assorted crazies, 7 bands from the area donated there time and unleashed 5 hours of classic rock that had the place pumping from beginning to end.
Special Thanks must go to Lisa Kurek from Mr. Whooha, who assembles this whole thing, another great Job Lisa.
RCS also would love to thank Jay and OTC for the use (and potential abuse) of their equipment and sound expertise.
